What are cell or tissue salts?

Cell Salts, also called tissue salts or biochemic salts, are composed of mineral compounds which occur naturally in our bodies and all other organic matter on earth, such as plants, rocks and soil.

Dr William H. Scheussler, a prominent 19th Century German doctor and biochemist, conducted research which demonstrated that each healthy human cell contains 12 mineral compounds or biochemic tissue salts. He originally began his studies by cremating cadavers and then conducting chemical analysis of the remaining ashes. In this manner he discovered the presence of 12 mineral compounds that are found in the body. He named these compounds cell salts. Further research established that when there is a deficiency in any of these cell salts, illness will result. They are esential to good health. They are also an essential partof an effective acne treatment program. These minerals should be present in all living cells in a proper balance to ensure good health.

It is well known that a deficiency in certain nutrients can result in systemic ill health.
